Fog Security Systems™ operate on simple and consistent principles. The Fog is created by introducing a fluid solution into a heater block under pressure. The solution vaporizes as it passes through the heater block. When the vapour is re-introduced into the atmosphere it cools and condenses, forming Fog particles that are suspended in the air. It does not soil anything and it does not interfere with any precision equipment. Every Fog Security System™ is uniquely engineered to offer effective Loss Prevention, Anti-Theft, Area Denial protection. The focus is to deter the intruders on entry and to protect the prime targets of a thief. The Fog does not pose a threat or hindrance to firefighters. The Fog Security System™ is integrated into buildings fitted with monitored fire detection systems. The Fog Security System™ has been designed specifically to interface with all conventional burglar alarm systems as a fixed installation in a building, either coupled to the HVAC or dedicated to a citadel enclosure within the structure. A good system should require no attention beyond a bi-annual inspection by a credible professional. Each Fog Security System™ has a number of inputs to control the device and outputs to monitor the device. These are terminated in the main alarm control panel via our dedicated interface. The Fog Security System™ is triggered by the burglar alarm or independent monitored mechanism to provide the activation signal. It will not activate by itself. When activated, the Fog will last for a minimum of 120 minutes so as to protect your premises for as long as it takes for the police to arrive at the scene. If the premises are not vented the Fog will remain for many hours. The premises can be cleared of Fog within 30 minutes when ventilated by the keyholder.
Fog Security Systems™ installed to date have proven to be 100% successful in either deterring Break-Ins at their initial stages, or the Break-Ins have stopped altogether due to notification that this form of security is present.
